He starts College. On line, of course, he refuses to leave Amity. And Online can be done at his pace, at his hours. So? For once? He's actually doing WELL. Even BETTER? It helps him remember to leave them games every once and a while. Eat something. Be human.

But... well... it's like a slow flip of his Obsession starving. Now that he has all the Space he could ever want? He... suddenly finds Amity... peaceful? Which is GOOD! It's... it's GOOD.

.........just not for him.

He can almost physically FEEL him mind unclenching it's death grip on the town. Finger by finger. Hands releasing, letting go, as they... reach for something. As he starts taking NOTE of crime rates in major cities. Alien attacks and Rogues, Heros spread too thin, people getting HURT.

In need of PROTECTION.

He... he doesn't WANT to be that fickle. He LOVES Amity! It's his HOME. He wasn't protecting it just because he craved something to protect! In the end, he drags it out longer then he probably should, argues with himself, ignores the problem. Is STUBBORN.

It's only after Dani starts talking about coming back to Amity to stay with him, do the college thing like he did, that he realizes...

Amity's not his Haunt anymore.

They talk. She's excited to help him find a nice shit hole of a city to protect, but also worried because he looks really gaunt. He may LOVE Space... but...

It's the GHOST in him that loves Space. The Astronaut. The Kid who refused to die, who ate a PORTAL TO THE EVERYTHING and crawled out still exsistant, who told Death not only "not today" but "not EVER"? That kid had something to protect. Was and is and always will BE, protection. Himself, his friends, his family or the town. Doesn't matter WHAT it is.

He refused to go, so he could protect them.

The part that DID, though, was starlight. And yeah, he needs it. Feeds it desperately. But it... doesn't exactly support his human half, you know? Doesn't anchor him. Make him want to eat and sleep, be human and alive, connect with people.

Space makes him ghosty.

Dani ultimately convinces him, after spraying him down with a hose and shoving a cheeseburger down his face, to move to Metropolis with her. They get ALIENS! Have Aliens HEROS! BIG DESTRUCTIVE FIGHTS. With lots and LOTS of people who need help! Plus? Gotham is within a day trip!

And UNLIKE Gotham, the Ecto isn't RANK AF in Metropolis.

Seriously, it smells like a burst sewer pipe over there.

Danny agrees. Can totally afford a modest lil place thanks to some patents. Makes one HELL OF A SCENE moving in. With his giant, ominous, futuristic, weirdly day glow green glowing bank of super computers... in this, "we love our Alien Blorbo" Metropolis.

Cause Green and Glowing sure ain't welcome round these parts! No SIR! Somebody call the COPS!

Danny isn't even half way through, when Superman lightly touchs down, a forced grin plastered to his face. The "please, God, not another Rogue. Not a new one. Please!" all but RADIATING off him.

“Depends.” You teased his words. His lips curled into a smile, moving as they had when you moaned his name.  “Are you going to share?”

You curled your toes, trying to hold back. Sanji was only a few steps away, arm dangling out your window with a smirk. He wanted you to cave, wanted you to beg him to feel him deep again. You were steadfast, staying within the warmth of the sheets, giving him nothing but an open invitation.

“And what do I get?” He hummed.

Sanji played along well to a game he didn’t know the rules to. He formed a habit of lingering. With each visit, he found it harder to leave and lie.  It was a reckless decision the first time inviting him to stay. Yet, the things you faced required something beyond your control

“Anything.”

He repeated your promise, smirking. It was becoming a look permanently etched on his face. If you hadn’t known any better, he looked smitten. The cigarette hadn’t even been lit yet, but your lungs were already tight as Sanji crept toward you.

“I’m sure you can be creative.” You provoked him further. The bed dipped beside you, but you were far too focused on how Sanji traced the cigarette over his lips in ritual before lighting it. “All you have to do is share.”

“I’m finding it hard to say no to you.” Sanji had a knack for choosing moments after intimacy to share his thoughts. They were always veiled by flirting, but it became simple to feel what he wanted.  

Now that he was closer, you could see the pink tinge on his cheeks. He was gentle-looking, with a few freckles littering his face, which could make just about anyone swoon. You were past the point of return, warmth in your stomach turning into dampness even lower.

“You think so?” You pulled him closer, toying with the lengthening hair at the nape of his neck. You loved how the smoke curled around you, encasing you both.

“Mhmm.” He took a drag just to push it through his nose. “Looking at me like that…” Sanji's eyes took their time taking you, free thumb tracing your bottom lip. “...Any man’s weakness.”

“Don’t be a tease,” You whispered. “There won’t be any left.”

“There’s plenty.” Sanji tipped your chin up gently as you followed his guidance eagerly. “But first, I want you to hold it for me..." If he could have anything, this would be it. Kissing you, breathing you in, and swallowing you whole. “...think you can do that?”

You nodded against his hand, barely in contact, as his free hand drew in a deep drag.

Sanji smiled down, leaning in, gently guiding your mouth open with his as he exhaled smoke past your waiting lips. You consumed Sanji’s senses for a moment. All he could feel was one of your hands coming to lay on his chest, your scent amongst the smoke, and the faint taste of something sweet on your lips. You breathed in, doing your best to take everything he offered into your lungs, as rich and intoxicating as the warmth it was attached to.

Sanji’s lips brushed yours for a moment longer. “Just like that…”

“Hold on, I don't think I have it yet.” Your voice matched his softness, your hand holding his jaw steady, keeping him from getting too far, “Show me again.”

You met Charlie in your freshman year of high school, and finally, by your senior year, you were dating. Now, at twenty-five, you were happy with your lives and peacefully living. He was a full-time content creator, and you were working at a department store, just a job to pay for classes to get the degree you were hoping to get.

You'd appeared in a stream or video here and there. You were relatively camera shy and didn't like disturbing your boyfriend while he was working, so you didn't show your face to his fans very much other than Instagram posts.

But, he'd gotten the genius idea to invite you on his stream and teach you how to play Minecraft. You knew stuff here and there about the game, but not a lot. All you really knew was blocks and the insane amount of friends he had, and eggs.

You sit down in a chair next to him, picking at your fingers as he begins the stream, giving you a warm welcome for chat. You give the camera a wave, looking to Charlie as he explains why you're here and what you'll be doing.

"Okay, so WASD is to move, mouse is to look around"

"Okay" You nod, using the mouse to look around, seeing you'd spawned in a dark oak biome. "Oooo, I like this place. Wait, this is one of those biomes you were playing in VR with Traves and Schlatt"

He nods and chuckles, "Yeah, yeah. Hold down the left mouse button to break blocks and get some wood."

You nod, doing as he says, gathering the dark oak wood. "I'm guessing walking, talking egg children are QSMP only" You joke, taking notice of the lack of eggs.

"Honestly, there is two types of eggs but they don't walk or talk, if that's any better?"

"Two?"

"Chicken eggs and the Ender Dragon's egg"

"Oh!"

You progress through the game a bit, getting better as you play.

You're now wielded with iron tools, golden boots from a nether portal ruin, and an iron helmet. Charlie speaks about the nether, which got you in a bit of a panic since, yes, you wanted to try and beat the game, but you didn't want to die and lose all your items, either. You definitely weren't loaded enough to go try and get a bunch of blaze rods and trade for ender pearls, so you decided to explore the massive caves to try and find diamonds and more iron, for now.

Charlie watches you, proudly. He shows you all the tips and tricks and teaches you what items do, how they work, and how to craft them.

"Oh, get out! Get out! That's a warden cave, out! Go! Go, go!" He exclaims, eyes widening.

"What?" You ask, quickly backing up as you look at the torch light illuminating the dark blue blocks. You hear a rustling sound in the headphones and quickly panic, running back where you came from.

"Wardens are so OP, dude, you'll get demolished. The abandoned cities have awesome gear and loot, though"

"Then let's go get it!"

"The wardens, Y/n"

You slowly look between him and the screen, and quickly type a little /gamemode peaceful in chat, switching the game mode.

"Y/n!" He giggles, "I thought you didn't wanna cheat"

"Well, I want rare shit. Thank your chat, dude." You shrug with a smile, heading back down towards the abandoned city.

You end up finding nearly a stack of diamonds down there, plus a bunch of enchanting books and music discs. Charlie was hyping you up the whole time and deflecting the fact you were in peaceful, using the responses of "they're scaring the wardens away" and "the wardens are there, they're just hiding" for the bit.

"Okay, I think I got everything"

"Oh, you don't leave"

"Huh?"

"You never leave.. you never leave once you enter" He begins to do the dark and scary voice while he quickly types in the /gamemode hard into chat, summoning a few wardens around you.

You yelp and quickly sprint away, taking a solid five hearts of damage from one hit. You're unable to turn the game back to peaceful as you try your best to run away. You attempt to build straight up but are hit again, killing you.

All your items burst out of your inventory as you stare at the 'You died!' screen, jaw hanging agape. You slowly turn your head towards the brunette next to you as chat explodes with comments.

"Charlie!"

You attempt to remain patient, but as each day passes, you find yourself growing more and more restless. Since your little foray into town with the prince, you have tried your best to stay out of his way in an attempt to not annoy him into "taking care of the problem," the problem being you.

Yet over the last two days, he has begun to seek you out. He never mentions any updates regarding your return back to your world and you haven't been able to muster up the courage to ask him, but today your impatience got the better of you and you had to ask for an update something to put your mind at ease.

So, when you were requested to his chambers for a morning meal, you hyped yourself up in the mirror.

"He wants you gone just as much as you want to be gone," you tell yourself. "He won't get mad. Not if you ask him the right way"

You shake out your limbs before being escorted to Aemond's chambers. Upon entering, he is sitting at his table, Sir. Simon stands beside you.

"Yes, your grace," Sir.Simon bows his head and takes his leave.

"Sit." Aemond gestures to the chair across the table from him.

"Thanks," you say gently, bowing your head as you slowly sit down in the chair.

"How are you adjusting?" He asks as he pours himself some tea.

"Oh, ummm. Ok, I guess." You pick at the small biscuit in front of you. "Not too worried about it..... since I'll be leaving soon"

Aemond puts down his tea cup harshly, the clanking of the cup against the dainty plate it sits upon causing you to jump.

"That is....... delayed. So you would do well to attempt to assimilate. " He pours her tea, his jaw is clenched tightly, and the tension can be seen in his neck and shoulders.

"Oh... may.... may i ask what the delay is?" You play with your fingers nervously.

"Missing ingredient." He lifts his cup to his mouth, sipping his tea.

You bite the inside of your cheek. "Just one?"

"Yes, but it is a very important one. Incredibly difficult to obtain, " he smirks. "Please, eat your biscuit." he leans back in his chair, crossing his legs.

You pick at the biscuit briefly before looking back at him. "That woman, Alys? she's your lover, isn't she? She was in the books anyway"

"We had a brief tryst, yes, but I had to break it off when i realized my interests lay..... elsewhere"

You panic at this revelation. "Will she still help us? Since you cut her off or whatever?"

He chuckles and shakes his head. "Oh, you sweet naive little thing." He gets up from his chair and walks around to your side of the table, standing over you. "Stand up"

You gulp audibly as you slowly rise out of your chair.

"I wish not to play this little game with you anymore." He brushes his thumb over your lower lip. "You are not going back"

"What?!" You shriek.

He pulls you into his chest and strokes your hair. "Shhhh sweet girl"

You push against his chest, trying to break from his grasp as he just pulls you tighter to him. He kisses the top of your head and sighs.

"The missing ingredient is the witch"

Your entire body goes rigid at his words, and you look up at him. "Alys?" You whisper.

"Mmmmmm," he strokes your hair some more while he looks down at you. "When I decided that I wanted to keep you, I thought it best to rid myself of the one person who could send you back" He leans down and smells your hair while goosebumps travel their way up your arms and up the back of your neck.

"W-w-where is she?" You ask the question while being terrified of the answer.

"Oh sweet girl, there is no need for you to be concerned about such things. All you need to know is that there is now no way for you to get back. " He rubs his thumbs over your cheekbones, cradling your face and angling it up towards him.

A surge of fear shoots through your entire body as you feel your legs grow weak beneath you.

"Oh, you are speechless, one of your best attributes, I must say." He holds you tightly against his body, gently swaying back and forth with you in his arms.

"Why?" Your voice is broken. You look up at him like a wounded animal that was just injured by its own master.

"Oh," he coos, gently stroking your face. "Because i want to keep you. Here. With me. As my wife. I will be the only one to know the true you." He gently pokes your nose. "The only one you can rely on completely. I will have you, and you will have nothing but me. " He rubs his cheek against yours. "You may be scared right now, but your loyalty will come with time when I am the only person in all the realm you can speak freely with"

You look towards him in shock. "My family? they must be worried. " You start to pull back tears pooling in your eyes.

"We are to be married, we will make you a new family." He pulls you back to him. "Do not be sad, my love"

You attempt to push yourself out of his embrace, but he holds you tightly and chuckles. "Still some fight in you, I see .... we can fix that"

He takes you tightly by the waist, just lifting you off the floor, walking you from his main chamber into his bed chamber.

You wriggle your body, trying to break free from his grasp. "Let me go!"

He chuckles as he continues to carry you into the bedchamber and then tosses you on his bed before quickly climbing on top of you, pinning your hands down on either side of your head.

"This is what you have wanted since you got here. You said it yourself." He leans down and starts to bite and kiss your neck.

A jolt of excitement runs through your body. This man is insane but he is also still very hot. So while your brain is screaming at you to stop him, your body is heating up, and a tingling pleasure is starting to build in your core.

he hums into your neck as he starts to unlace your dress. "You will be such a cute little wife, completely dependent on me." As he got the laces undone, he starts to pull the dress down and off your shoulders.

You sigh, the feeling of his hands on your skin as he slowly pushes the dress down. Your body is sending ripples of pleasure through you, but the prospect of being stuck here forever is frightening. "Aemond," you whisper softly. "I can't stay here"

He stands up, pulling the dress over your hips and down your legs, tossing it to the floor. "Oh, but you have no choice, sweet girl." He pushes your legs apart with his knee.

Tears start to stream down your face when the reality of your situation starts to set in.

He wipes a tear off your cheek and then kisses down the side of your neck, trailing down to your chest. You feel warmth spread through your body at his kisses, your crying starting to subside as you allow yourself to just feel physical sensations in this moment pushing your emotions far into the recesses of your being.

He continues kissing down your body, leaving a trail of kisses from your chest and over your chemise on your stomach. Once he makes it down to your thighs, he pushes your chemise up around your hips, bringing his mouth directly to your sensitive skin.

You begin to tremble with anticipation as his kisses trail lower and lower. He bites into your thigh, not very hard but hard enough to give you a jolt before he quickly pulls back and kisses the injured flesh.

He hooks his finger around the centerpiece of your small clothes, slowly dragging them down your legs as he continues to sprinkle kisses along your thighs.

He pushes your legs apart and places gentle kisses along your folds, and then lifts himself up sitting on the heels of his feet. "See? There's no reason to cry. " He smirks before lowering himself to you again and licking one long strip along your heat, lapping gently at your pearl.

Your eyes shoot open and stare directly at the canopy above you as the heat and pleasure build up inside you. He continues to swirl his tongue around you as he slowly brings his hands up to your hips, moving you against his face in a gentle rhythm.

You bring your hand up to your mouth and bite down on your thumb to stifle the noise that is aching to burst its way from your chest. As he increases his pressure and speed, he grips tightly on your hips.

"Oh god," involuntarily spills from your mouth, and you can feel Aemond smirk against your skin for a brief moment before continuing his movements until he brings you over the edge.

You lay back on the bed your entire body pulsating, but Aemond has no plans of letting you rest. He quickly strips himself down to nothing and pulls you up.

"My turn." He grins and kisses you harshly on the mouth before quickly turning you over and pulling your backside up towards him. This all happens so quickly that you are bewildered, your body still shaking from earlier.

He slowly slides his hands up your back, tracing the curve of your spine. He pushes himself against your entrance and groans as he slowly enters you.

"Knew I had to keep you." He grips your hips tightly, his fingernails lightly digging into the soft flesh there. "Scared, lost little thing," He bottoms out with a loud groan. "You will make a perfect mother." He slowly starts to move against you.

You start to breathe heavily as you feel your cheek slide against the soft sheets with each thrust, the pressure of which gets harder and more aggressive with each movement.

"I'll fill you up" He continues to increase his pace as he runs a hand down your back and slides it into your hair pulling your head off the mattress as he wraps the strands around his hand.

"Every. Single. Day. " He pulls your hair tighter as your back starts to arch from the pull.

"Until you are bursting with my babes" He suddenly pushes your face back down and into the mattress and his pace becomes punishing, the loud smacks of skin on skin contact filling your senses your own sounds muffled by the mattress.

He pushes your face further into the mattress as he smashes his body into yours, the force of his movements pushing you further and further into the soft sheets.

He moves faster and harder against you than you thought humanly possible as you lose all sense simply drowning in the experience. Your movements are not your own, and while you feel powerless in this situation, you also feel a sense of relief.

As his movements become sloppy and uncoordinated, he growls loudly like an animal pushing you down harder into the bed until he is spent as he rubs his hands up and down the sides of your waist.

He chuckles and leans over, kissing you gently along your spine.

"You will be happy, here, sweet girl"

He places a few more gentle kisses on your skin.

"You can trust me"

To start off, I just wanna say that Fae (acuar-io) has some absolutely STUNNING sims, it's hard to exactly word it, but their sims are SUPER recognizable, and their saves (Snow flower, Cozy save, etc) are SO nicely edited, so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes 🫶😩

@oshinsimblr is the reason why I started storytelling (even before my simblr time) and why I try and find a story-related reason on why my sims/characters do certain things, her videos are also SO comforting and i love her lovesick series!!! and of course, @minimooberry the whole inspo for this simblr and why I render in blender!

@mattodore and @cinamun are AMAZING simblrs if u want rich storytelling and/or well-thought out characters, River has inspired me to really tear into my characters and give them more personality, and cina just genuinely makes such realistic characters and the tea is ALWAYS hot and simblr aside, she has very good takes >:P

Nat (Missatan) has SUCH a gorgeous sim style, you've heard of them hips dont lie, well her sims' lips dont lie 😩🫦 Virt (Virtualfolk) and Sam's (pearlean) sim styles are SO animated (if that makes sense), they're like eye-candy. Den (claudtrait), like Nat, has a sim style with the most luscious lips and poutiest faces ive ever seen and are just SOO pleasing to look at, like i just feel blessed in the eyes when i see their sims

@yukikocloud 's Apricot save and storytelling is incredibly reminiscent of Bree's posts, and I just LOVE looking at and reading her story posts, this post in particular just absolutely captivated me, I was drawn in and just get so giddy seeing the Apricot save pop up on my dash 🥹

@alientown @venriliz @nefarrilou @druidberries @machinegrl make STUNNINGGGGG occult (or cyber/robotic in Baja/Machinegrl's instance) sims. Nef always makes beautiful sims for their Cryptid "series", im just in AWE when i see their cryptids... Ven and Ana (alientown) both always make absolutely gorgeous alien sims and they also just have very unique/beautiful sim styles 😍 Baja's cyber girlies are just >>>>>>>>>>>>> I love her whole dystopian/cyber theme, its literally so good and so cool, and her Deadstars series? SO good. Alexis' (druidberries) elowen is so pretty, and her sim style, especially with occults, is just MWAH chefs kiss, literal eye candy

@swallowprettybird is just one of the sweetest people on simblr, I love reading what she has to say about mine and others' posts, and she makes amazingggg posts, I loved that one national geographic inspired post with the zebra, it was so well done

Breaking the media

Chapter 9- the media can be scary

You woke to the sound of your name being shouted along the corridor from alexia, so you picked up your phone and walked to the kitchen to find alexia had made breakfast for the two of yous. You opened your phone, and you looked as every single social media of yours had blown up, and the news was all on you. The comments of the next england star girl takes stage at Barcelona at just 16. You almost couldn't believe it. Your transfer had already gotten some attention from the media, but this. This was collosal in less that 24hrs you had gained over 100k followers on Instagram, you couldn't really believe it. Since you had played at arsenal you had been under a watchful eye by the media yet it never phased you but this was different there was alot more news on you and the pressure started to weigh on your shoulders.

Alexia had snapped you out of your thoughts by telling you to hurry up to go to training. You had arrived sharply on time for a match debrief "ohh heres the famous y/n watch out" mapi joked with you "oh shut it mapi you're just jealous that im all over the news and you're not" you responded to her laughing lightly. You had sat on the end of the row hoping to get some peace as everyone sat next to their respective friends, and then it was lucy who came to sit next to you. "You okay?" you asked her "yeah yeah its just a calf pull its not anything to worry about, the only thing i should be worried about is you taking my spot" she responded laughing at the last part of the sentence "oh god no i could never take your spot but in a a year or so cant garentee that one" you responded to her while being told to sushh by your teamates as the meeting started. The meeting was boring you spent more time playing with the strings on your shorts then paying attention as the whole presentation was in spanish and although alexia had been helping you learn to speak spanish it wasn't going on the easiest of paths. However, you did understand one bit when lucy translated that you were going to do media with ona alexia and ingrid for the next hour or so.

"Media really this isn't going to go well, why not someone else" you asked begging to be swapped "no can do, you're the one with all the hype around you the club has to capitalise of it" alexia said putting her arm around your shoulders and dragging you to the media room. You and alexia had been set with the first set of press while ingrid and ona did interviews then yous would swap."bon dia alexia y y/n tengo algunas preguntas sobre el juego" the man continued alexia waited till he was finished when she translated the conversation to you "he said he had a few questions about the game" she whispered to you. The man had asked you how you felt with all the media stories and before you started you decided to make the conversation potentially easier "ermm no hablo espanol sorry i haven't gotten round to mastering the spanish language but i think the media can be positive influencing to motivate me but too much of it can be pressuring especially the ones bringing in national teams" you responded trying to be as professional as possible. After 15 minutes later of questions you and alexia were promptly moved out of the room and to interviews you were each given a list of places to go to luckily yours had been to the English media where alexia had the spanish media. The interviews went okay there was a few questions which were definitely different than usual but one sparked your thoughts "so y/n how do you feel about the increasing number of comments on your post of people commenting on your looks" the reporter asked "if im being honest i haven't looked at the comments but i am 16 so depending on the nature of the comment would depend my response as im open to compliments but i dont think its appropriate to sexualise a teenager or any player as a matter of fact i want to be known for being a good player not for looking good" you replied.

As soon as the media had ended you clicked on your recent post and went straight to the comment section and god it was not a sight you wanted to see it was a mixture of positive comments some wierd over sexulising remark or a hate comment about how you didn't deserve to play on the team or you only played because it would bring attention to the club. You wished you never opened them as a swirling pit of guilt formed were you just there to bring attention to the club? Did you deserve to even be at Barcelona? The thoughts clung to you like a dark web clouding your mind and it was showing. Training followed and you were playing sloppy missing easy tackles and making bad passes this just made your thoughts spiral so when yous were instructed to take a break it was alexia who decided to ask what was wrong as she could tell not just by your preformance but by the way your eyes were dulled and your eyebrows ever so slightly knitted together she knew something was bothering you.

"Hey pequeña what wrong your not playing like you normally do whats on your mind" she said looking at you the minute she asked this tears welled in your eyes it was pathetic you thought to yourself "i.. erm i dont know i guess i just paid too much attention to what everyone was saying and its not very nice" you said dropping your head in defeat "oh come here, do not believe what they say okay whatever it is its wrong i promise you" she said wrapping you in a hug as you pulled back you grabbed your phone out of your bag and showed alexia the comments and the dms of people "trust me y/n they're wrong you are good enough to play for this team and ignore those creeps because unfortunately we cant do much to make it stop but we can move on as if they never existed" she said standing back up to train again. And yet again alexia knew what to tell you how to remove that cloud that sat in your thoughts weighing you down you now just felt lighter.

Alexia had become a solution to your problems one you could rely on. One who cared for you it was unusual but nice the last time you had felt this loved by a person was your foster family back in London who looked after you while you were at arsenal. She had drove yous home and had began to cook dinner for both of you when she casually slipped into conversation "you know jona is thinking about starting you next game due to lucy and jana being injured" "what, you're joking right" you responded "no no of course not but you need to put in the work tomorrow to make sure he will" she replied as she put the pasta on the boil. You had ate your dinner together and watched tv before going to sleep and the thought of starting lingered in your head it was like you had gone to sleep with a smile on your face at the thought of starting.

Nekoma at an Amusement Park - A Long Headcanon Post

The car ride there is the most miserable 30 minutes of Kai's life. Inuoka can't stop asking "are we there yet?" every five seconds, Tora and Lev are arguing about what ride is the scariest at a criminal volume for 9am, Yaku's shouting at them from the passenger seat to shut up (which only makes things louder), Kenma's grumbling to himself while Kuroo tries to hype him up (again, too much energy for 9am). Kai. Oh Kai. Why did you volunteer to drive? Kai needs another coffee.

No one brought bags because they didn't want to pay for lockers except Yaku (always the prepared one). This left them with no choice but to beg for space in his. Yaku begrudgingly became the wallet guardian

The first thing Tora and Fukunaga do is drag Kenma to the teacups, which they spin as fast as humanely possible. Afterwards Kenma has to sit out for an entire hour (they later find him taking refuge in the arcade)

While in line for a rollercoaster Lev asks Yaku—with 100% sincerity— if he's tall enough to get on. Yaku debates reaching over to unbuckle his seatbelt mid-ride.

Teshiro prepared an itinerary to try and hit as many attractions as possible but unfortunately the other first years are constantly derailing things like the distractible idiots they are

The best at waiting in long lines are Kai, Teshiro, Fukunaga, and Kenma. The first two are generally patient, Fukunaga's good at entertaining himself by people watching, and Kenma almost prefers playing mobile games to the actual ride. The worst at waiting are Lev, Tora, and Inuoka, especially Lev (he's a whiner). Yaku can wait but he's definetly bouncing on his toes the entire time.

Kuroo's favorite ride is the drop tower, he likes the tension of being left up there to dangle. He always needles whoever sits next to him so the rest of the team plays rock paper scissors to decide who that has to be. One time he drags Kenma on, who has to sit out AGAIN afterwards (his thrill-ride energy has already been completely drained)

--A BUMPER CAR INTERMISSION --

The Teams

Kenma and Kuroo: Solid duo, at first Kenma's indifferent but after being targeted one-too-many times by his teammates (mostly Tora and Lev) he gets fired up. Then he's out for blood. Kuroo's having a blast.

Tora and Fukunaga: MENACES, will chase after you and slam you into the wall then laugh in your face like cartoon villians (at least Tora does, Fukunaga just gives you a devious grin). Way too into it please chill out.

Lev and Yaku: Are they fighting the other teams or each other? Lev keeps complaining about not having enough leg room then sprawling himself over Yaku's space. Needless to say Yaku doesn't take that lying down. Easy targets, they're sitting ducks in the middle of the floor since they're too busy arguing to drive.

Inuoka and Shibayama: Having the time of their LIFE, laughing their asses off every time they get bumped. Instead of one person driving they each take a side of the wheel and whip it around wildly. This is the ideal way to bumper car.

Kai and Teshiro: The sleeper agents, they sneak up from behind and get you when you least expect it. Kai is still pissed from the car ride so he's got a lot of stress to work out. There's something horrifying behind that smile.

-- INTERMISSION OVER--

To settle their feud from the car ride Tora and Lev sit in the front row on the scariest coaster in the park. Beforehand they're talking smack and trying to one-up each other ("I'm not gonna scream at all!" "Well i'm not gonna hold the bar!") but by the first drop they're both shreiking and clinging to each other for dear life. Kai buys the souvenir photo and hangs it in the club room

Fukunaga loves those giant swing rides (whatever they're called idk), he does his best brainstorming up there. He always streches his arms out dramatically like the majestic dove he is

At lunch Kuroo rants about how overpriced theme park food is and proudly brags about the homemade sandwiches he smuggled in. No one cares, they want just want some fucking chicken tenders

Shibayama buys way too many souvenirs. Inuoka buys way too many snacks. Together they are out of money.

Kuroo and Tora get super competetive at the carnival games. Kuroo wins one of those big plushies and gives it to Kenma, who complains about how he has to lug it around now (though he's actually very touched and treasures it). Tora only manages to get a pitty prize after spending way too much money. He gives it to Akane later

The first years go on the log flume and get completely soaked. When they return to the group Inuoka shakes himself off like a dog and sprays everyone in the process

Kuroo, Fukunaga, and Teshiro are the only ones who care enough to watch one of the stage performances. It's definetly made for children but they dont care, they sit in the front row and cheer louder than any of the kids (except Teshiro, who just claps politely). Fukunaga gets chosen for an audience participation moment and its the best part of his day

The third years go through the haunted house together and cower behind Kai the entire time. Afterwards the others ask how it was and Kuroo and Yaku act all nonchalant, but after a glare from Kai they admit that they were huge wusses

To end it off they all go on the ferris wheel, same duos as bumper cars: Kuroo and Kenma: Chill vibes, they're talking like they always do in the way only childhood best friends can Fukunaga and Tora: Rocking the car back and forth as hard as they can. Tora's convinced they can make a full 360 loop, and while Fukunaga knows that's not possible he appreciates the enthusiasm Lev and Yaku: For the first time that day they stopped bickering. Yaku wont admit it but they have a nice time Inuoka and Shibayama: Playing I Spy and general people watching. Eventually they start narrating over people's interactions and get way too invested in the little storyline they've made up Teshiro and Kai: Teshiro's hitting Kai with rapid fire questions, a lot about volleyball but also just general stuff about being an upperclassman. Kai is happy to provide answers

The car ride home is a lot more relaxed. Kuroo volunteered to drive this time and him and Yaku have a nice chat while the rest of the team take a nap in the back seats. All and all a successful day

Thoughts on Game Changers Season 6

Just my raw thoughts not a review or anything We are back again with another season of Game Changer or maybe we’ve been here the whole time. Welcome to Game Changer Season 6 thoughts on which unlike the previous post covering 1-5 I hope is not 7 pages long but we’ll see as I’ve just started writing this.

One thing I mentioned in my previous thoughts on was that Game Changer started to be able to fully manifest it’s original concept around season 4 but now it has truly become a whole different beast, Season 6 includes one single game samer as well as the most ambitious episode to date but again like before we are gonna go through the episodes in order so on to the premier.

Game Changer Season 6 debuts with a very traditional episode in Second Place aka the let’s bully Brennan this episode, the concept is simple, second place always wins the point no matter what happens and this deeply upsets Brennan while Ally and Oscar find it incredibly funny as the monologues escalate and the ridiculousness of the episode escalates until it crescendos into a tie between Oscar and Ally which leaves Brennan in second place and thus the winner of the episode as he launches into another iconic mug monologue that I hope goes down in history as the I cannot win one did so many years before back in Season 4, this is pure unadulterated Brennan and one of the funniest Game Changer moments both on episode 1 of the season.

Episode 2 is The Newlyweb Game, a very Dropout take on The Newlywed game in which 3 couples all at different stages of their relationship as Ify and Emily are dating, Tao and Alexis are engaged and Raph and Haley who are actually newlywed compete to assert dominance and prove they know their partner the best. The prompts in this episode are out of control as a main source of the information is the participants phones and they take full advantage of this asking about selfies, search histories and really strange phone notes that lead to one of my favorite jokes in the entire season, it’s a very fun episode with some great (probably) one time participants that pull their weight and enhance the episode greatly.

While the finale of the season had the most hype and work put behind it, if I had to pick the crowning jewel of this season it would be Episode 3 aka Sam Says 3. This is it, since Game Samers don't repeat more than 3 times (stated by Sam in cut for time and bts) they pull all the stops with this one, the cast consisting of Vic Michaelis, Jacob Wysocki and Lou Wilson is the ultimate chaotic theme of maniacs perfect for how off the wall this episode gets, frankly this is the episode I want to talk about the most but also the one that benefits the most from going in blind so we are doing this again SPOILERS START you can tell the episode is going for the fences right of the bat with the “do something cringe” which then leads to the incredibly pointless and funny swear jar which through the episode makes for some of the most hilarious moments as well cursing is very much a part of the show and since it had never been restricted it leads to many points taken, Sam then begins to fuck with them as he stops saying Sam says and also adds the freeze rule to just make it even more confusing, then we have really bizarre prompts like the fetish challenge which leads to the new supreme insult they try to use constantly “cum” which also leads to some of the most unhinged moments increasing the ante before quickly going for some more normal prompts to chill out the contestants like the slow mo and the do something for the trailer or the traditional special effect insert as well as some less convencional stuff like the don’t look at the little pig with a hat, the dedications and the how big is the hog prompt which do keep some edge on the contestants while still having their guard lowered so that when Zam the puppet comes out it can just completely confuse the contestants before jumping into insanity with both the cowboy clothes and the call everyone daddy or you lose points rule that just makes everything terrible before finally paying off the predictions made early in the episode. The front is now fully united as they agree to equalize points to have more fun before the final prompt (take a shot every time I wrote prompts) which is just having fun in a party bus that is just a dupe to have them lose points to swears and calling people by their name instead of daddy, Vic suffers the most from this part as equalizing the points just completely murdered her chance at winning as Jacob’s control of the daddy prompt made him lose the least amount of points and gives him the win, Lou was a lost cause as soon as he got inside that van even with the points equalized. SPOILERS END The episode is just so much fun and it will probably be remembered as one of the best episodes in the history of Game Changer, let alone this season.

Episode 4 is rather experimental as it’s more of an art contest for artist to show their creativity and flexibility which is very fun but doesn’t quite engage with what makes Game Changer unique from in this case a random youtube challenge rather than a game show but it’s still a fun watch and has some great prompts like the designing a cereal mascot segment.

Episode 5 the Deja Vu episode is the pinnacle of Sam fucking with his contestants which is really surprising after Sam Says but it does get increasingly confusing as the episodes continues to repeat over and over in a weird puzzle concoction that takes the team of Trapp, Ify and Siobhan quite a while to figure out but the payoff is just so much fun and the wenis is a great bit.

Episode 6 is one of the most unique episodes in the series as the whole concept is challenges to even get a buzzer to well buzz in and answer the trivia questions, the places where the buzzers are hidden get increasingly ridiculous as the first couple easy ones are taken until we eventually end up with stuff like one hidden inside a cake, one you have to convince someone outside to press through an audio only set up and interrupting a very intense make out session to get the buzzer on the other side of the bed. The cast of this episode is also rather fun with Erika and Rekha bringing their usual strengths to the show as well as the return of Becca Scott with foot jokes included. Overall the episodes take full advantage of the strengths of Game Changer and is just great television and a fantastic conventional finale to this season before jumping into the two parter which actually ends the season.

Episodes 7 and 8 consist of a single show split into two parts, The Ratfish which I’m told is very similar to The Circle but I haven’t seen that show so bear with me on this. The episodes also come with the most stacked cast in Game Changer history as we get Ally, Jess, Grant, Brennan, Katie, Zac, Rekha and special guest Eric Wareheim (from Tim and Eric) all participating in this bizarre role play texting clue among us type game.

The premise of the episode is that everyone is playing a character in a group chat text and little by little as prompts happen each contestant has to figure out who is playing every other character while keeping their identity hidden, this makes for a fantastic first episode as the stakes are high and the game is very close from the looks of it and then the episode ends leaving you wanting more during that grueling two week wait between episodes which well kind of led to disappointment as the game begins to fall apparent quickly since unexpectedly Rekha figured out the game way earlier than anticipated which breaks the tension but then Katie also figures out everyone which just complicates things further as well as losing both Zac and Brennan which lead a lot of the funniest segments of the episodes it just sadly couldn’t work as well this time around but the concept is solid enough where a Game Samer with more experience could go incredibly hard and I wouldn’t mind it even if it came in season 7.

Overall Game Changer Season 6 is more of the same but taken to 11, things get really hectic in the best ways possible and it continues to be the pinnacle of Dropout as a show only they could produce and make as excellent as it is. It is such a massive L the Emmys didn’t accept the nomination but nominated the currently terrible season of Jeopardy. Game Changer deserves all the recognition as some of the best television of the streaming era and this season just keeps showing why the Dropout team is one of kind and why it’s so worth it to keep this subscription above all others.

I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! I had that monster of a post brewing up and am slowly catching up! Also fun fact the first thing that popped up was a toy company and I was so confused.

Baki:

Flabberghasted. You do what?! He's kinda dumb so you do need to just explain to him what a majorette is, but once you do he thinks it's the coolest thing out there, he wants to see you pop off and just go.

He's honestly impressed once he does see you in action. From the costumes to the choreography, he thinks it makes you look stunning, and he admires the coordination that it takes to pull some of those moves off.

He's got the water and a snack ready for you for when you finish up with practice or a performance, he knows it's hard work and he wants his baby to stay hydrated and well-fed. Especially if it's hot outside? He's going to make sure that your sugars are up and that you're not sweating too much.

Will he wear the costumes you've worn? Absolutely. Will he try some of the simpler moves? Definitely! It's something you're passionate about and that is important to you. Granted, he makes it all look like a fight, but that's just how he does things, and he'll have you both rolling on the floor with laughter because he'll do some dumb shit.

He'd absolutely love to go and watch others perform with you too. He still thinks that you're the best he's ever seen, but he won't lie when he says that he's impressed by how much effort some people put into their performances.

Kozue:

Your biggest cheerleader, she's there at every performance, practice, or even just a "hey does anyone want to get together to practice for this event coming up?". She's there and she's hyped.

She's jealous. She's not that graceful and she doesn't have the best stamina in the world, but she thinks you look stunning the entire time and she wants you to know that. Give her the chance and she'll coordinate outfits with you and get some really nice pictures for your socials.

Water? Ice cold. Snack? Varied. She's even got a mini hand-held fan at the ready and a cool towel she wrapped around an icepack. She's going to make sure that you go in and out of practice or events looking and feeling perfect.

PLEASE let her wear a costume with you at least once and show her how to do a few easy tricks and moves. She'll be in absolute heaven, especially if you're practicing with friends. She meshes in so well even if she's not at your level.

Once she finds out what majorettes are, she can't get enough. Is there a football game? She wants to see the bands play just to catch a glimpse if any majorettes are performing. Concerts with majorettes? She's watching them the second she's able to get her hands on them.

Hanayama:

Human personification of 👍🏻. It's nice that you have a passion and a good hobby, don't get him wrong, but it's just so far removed from his world that he doesn't really know what to say to show that he thinks it's cool.

Is he impressed? Absolutely, he thinks you're a class act and that you've got some serious skill. Does he show it? No, lmao, he stands there with his arms crossed and a neutral expression the entire time. Just know that he thinks you're cool, he's just stunted.

He won't bring you drinks and snacks himself, he's busy watching you to worry about stuff like that. What he will do is get a caterer. Practice or actual performance, the aftermath is always catered. Only the best for his baby.

Yeah you're not going to get him in any costumes, but if you do something he thinks could be useful in a fight, he might get you to show it to him. He will butcher that move in front of you, but it's one of the few times he gets outwardly excited.

If you want to go see others perform, he'll go with you, but only if you ask him to. The others aren't you, and while they may be skilled, they're not you, so why would he care about them???

Chiharu:

What the fuck is a majorette? He's got no idea, non whatsoever. You can explain it to him all you want, he's just gonna sit there saying "huh?" over and over again. (He's a visual learner). He'll figure it out eventually though.

If Kozue is your #1 fan, he's... also your #1 fan. If he could be better than a #1 fan he would, but the saying really only works with that phrasing. He loves bright colours, especially purple, and sparkles? Oh he could die happy. Flips and that are cool too, don't get him wrong, but the fashion is what gets him.

I'm going to be completely honest: he forgets the drinks and snacks at home. He gets so excited to see you do your thing that he just straight up leaves them on the counter, the only thing he remembers is a change of clothes. Don't worry, he'll run to the store to grab you something though, whatever you want! It's on him!

Oh HELL YEAH he'll wear the costumes! Are you kidding?! The second he lays eyes on one he'll want to wear it, the more flashy the better. He'll make it an entire thing, you'll have pictures of him doing the most ridiculous shit but he looks fantastic. Just don't teach him any moves, he will hurt himself. No self-preservation instinct at all.

He'll drag you to every big performance he can, just so he can look at the outfits with you. If the costumes are boring, his entire day is (mostly) ruined, but he does have to admit that the choreography is at least nice to watch!

Katsumi:

He may be a dumb karate jock, but he's been to America in the past and he saw a marching band once when there was a football game going on. Blew his mind, so finding out that you're a majorette dancer gets him all excited, he'll want to tell you all about the performance he saw. (Bonus points if that's when you two met and he was just too stupid to realise that it was you.)

The choreography has him hypnotized. You can do something you see as a basic move and he's all over you, talking about how it's the coolest thing he's ever seen and how he thinks you're the coolest person he's ever met. He'll talk your ear off about how fun he thinks doing this is.

He always has water for you! He's got water for himself, he knows how important it is to stay hydrated. Given the chance, he shows up like a damn soccer dad with a backpack cooler with drinks and snacks. Anything to restore electrolytes and keep you well hydrated. Just be sure to remind him to keep his distance or else he'll interrupt your practice to make sure you drink.

He might wear something a bit more tame, like a vest or a fun shirt, but he won't really do more than that. The dancing, on the other hand, THAT he will try. He's stiff and awkward to start, and much like Baki he'll make it look like fighting, but he's doing his best!

Fully willing to go to performances with you, he'll make sure you both have the best seats in the house, especially if it's a game performance. He'll make it a whole date given the chance, and it'll be pretty nice, regardless of drunk sports fans.

Jack:

Pretty impassive, much like Hanayama, but he shows his interest in the subject more openly. He never got to really see any performances when he was younger, though he has actually heard a few going on. He's fascinated and supportive, but he's mostly enthusiastic about the technical skills behind it.

The endurance that majorettes display is something he greatly admires. The stuff that dancers pull off is honestly impressive, and he's not afraid to admit that he thinks it's really cool, though he'll say it in his weird fucked up nerdy way.

He's bad at taking care of himself, and he's also really bad at remembering that other people have basic needs too, though he's fantastic at recognising when someone needs a break. You can be dying on the floor, sweating your ass off and he'll just look at you and go "do you need a water or something? You look beat, take a break." completely unaware that you can't move.

You're not going to get him to wear anything flashy, but if you want to slip an accessory onto him or get him to put on a sweater for you (and only for you) then he might oblige you. As for pulling off any moves... That's a solid maybe, it takes a lot of convincing, but he's shockingly agile. (seriously, he's done several flips effortlessly, it's impressive)

If you manage to convince him to take a break from his training, you deserve a damn marching band performance up and down the street. It's impressive, it's rare, and more importantly, it's special. Getting him to actually come with you and see a performance is one of the few rare moments where he's not thinking of anything else. Until the next day, you have his full attention.

Kosho:

Surprisingly geeky about majorettes. He thinks they're pretty and skilled and he loves loves loves the power that their performances emanate. One of the rare few times that Kosho just full-on nerds out. It's actually kinda cute, just don't bring it up because he'll never do it again.

Much like Jack, he admires the technical skills that go into being a majorette, but he does kinda like the makeup and hairstyles that come with it. Subtle? He loves it. Vibrant and bold? He loves it. He thinks the individuality is nice, and it's a great method of self-expression and empowerment.

He's a quiet admirer and supporter. You can be doing a handstand or something to warm up and you'll just see him get down and join you to talk about how your day's been going or if you need help with your warmups. He's got water, but he doesn't usually bring snacks unless you specifically request them.

He'll honest to god just sit and let you do whatever to him as long as you're not wasting good stuff on him. Wanna put some eyeshadow on him and put his hair up? Sure, hell, he'll even help you find accessories. And moves? Yeah, he'll try to learn them. He's a bit awkward about it, but he tries.

You wanna take him to go see a performance? You're going to have to keep up with him and not the other way around, because the morning of he's packed up and ready to go watch some people just move. He's not there for the music or the sports (if there are any) he's there for the energy. Taking him to pride would make him simply ascend.

Kureha:

The kinda bitch to tell you about the worst injuries he's heard of majorettes getting just to piss you off, but it's his way of telling you that he looked into it. You're welcome btw. ❤️

He respects the technical skill and the history, and he does appreciate the effort that majorettes put into looking nice for their performances. That being said, he's still a massive bitch and will absolutely nit-pick at every little thing he sees wrong with someone's conditioning.

He's busy, so he won't likely come to your practices, but he will have your water and a healthy snack packed and ready for you to take with you to practice, as well as for when you come home. You're going to have the best damn conditioning, he swears it. Your performances are one of the few times he'll actively request time off. He wants to see you in action and evaluate your progress.

Also one of the few occasions where he'll let you play with his hair. You wanna style him for a big day? If it helps you calm your nerves then sure, have at it. Just don't pull, because he'll use that as an excuse to whine about a headache all day. He means well, he's just being annoying so you won't feel as nervous.

You can't take him anywhere, because everywhere he looks he sees people with conditioning sub-par to his own. Is he an exception to the norm? Absolutely. Does he care? Lmao, no, he's still gonna be a rude ass about it.

Retsu:

He has no idea what a majorette is or what goes into being one, but he's so supportive that you won't figure out that he doesn't actually know wtf a majorette is until a full two months later. He's eager to learn about your passions though!

Oh he absolutely is a flustered mess when he first sees you in action, especially if it's a proper performance. The atmosphere is just so alive and energetic that it makes him just happy to be here. He's glad that you're sharing your passions with him, and that he gets to meet your friends who also share that same passion!

He packs you cold tea and a healthy snack for after practice. Not water, not juice, cold tea. It's refreshing, there's no denying that, but the first time you take a sip of the heavy ass thermos he hands you you're probably going to choke because it's not what you expect. Is it bad? By no means, it's just a surprise.

He might agree to wear a few things here and there as long as it's just the two of you, and he'll do his best to try and copy whatever moves you show him. He's graceful, so it's not that hard, but he makes it look a bit too much like ballet if I'm being honest. It's so undeniably him that there's nothing bad to say about it either.

Take him to a performance and watch his brain explode. They're doing what?! In this weather? With the music this loud?! The atmosphere is electric and he's sweaty and hot, but he's having the time of his life with you. He doesn't even like sports that much, but if there's one involved he winds up cheering for a team anyways.

Doppo:

Doesn't know what you mean my majorette, but he's too stubborn to ask so he'll just google it when he thinks you're not looking. The only way you'll find out is either Natsue rats him out or you catch him in the act. He'll deny it, of course, but there's no lying his way out of it.

He thinks you're pretty neat. He's got a fine eye for skill, so you can trust when he says that you're very talented and that you've got amazing potential. Beginner or experienced, he's going to help you improve rapidly before you even know what's happening. Be warned, he will try and teach you karate under the pretext of endurance training.

He instilled Katsumi's soccer dad habits when he was younger, and he's no different, though he might bring coffee or tea for himself, you get freezing cold water or juice, and he's got options. You want mint in your water? He brought fresh leaves. You want snacks? What are you craving? He's got a few options, but if you want something else he'll go grab it.

He'll wear some fun accessories with no hesitation. The old man knows how to have fun, but he's not going to dance. You and Natsue can ask him, beg even, but he's gonna have to say no on that front. He can be silly, but throwing out his back because he tried to keep up with you isn't in his cards. Is he being dramatic? Absolutely.

He'll take you to some of the best performances out there. Football game in America has a famous marching band with majorettes? He'll take you to see them, and then you can enjoy him being an average sports fan.

Natsue:

She's more open to admitting that she has no clue what a majorette is, but once you tell her and explain it she's all in. She'll rat Doppo out for not knowing, but that's because she watches videos of majorettes performing with him so she can see what stuff you're doing.

You know how she was before Katsumi's fight with Pickle? She carries that energy with her. If you perform with a marching band, she's encouraging all of you. If it's just you and a few other majorettes, she's still encouraging all of you. She wants you all to know that she thinks you're doing great!

She has drinks and a snack on hand, and a change of nice comfy clothes ready for when you finish practicing or performing. She even goes a step further and gets you a nice bath prepared for when you get home that you can jump right into. You'll feel rejuvenated even if you didn't break that much of a sweat.

She, much like Doppo, will dress up and accessorize, but she'll have to politely decline doing any dances or tricks. She's not a fighter, nor is she a performer, so she's more likely to actually hurt herself if she does something wrong, but she'll have a great time either way.

Shibukawa:

Definitely doesn't know what a Majorette is and you'll never find that out unless he outright tells you that he doesn't know. He can and will bullshit his way out of an "I don't know" situation by just playing along.

Oh he thinks you're amazing! He admires people who are able to put that much energy and passion into something they like doing, and when eh actually does his research and finds out cultural significances and history? Yeah, he thinks majorettes are pretty cool.

He brings you juice and light snacks for your practices, same as your performances, but he's likely to sip at your drink while you do practice. He won't be there for every practice, mind you, he's a busy man and he's gotta teach people aiki or judo at the precinct, but he does his best to show up. He never misses a performance though.

He'll politely have to decline wearing outfits/costumes/accessories, or trying out any of the moves/tricks. This being said, he'll watch you during practices. He's small, agile and graceful, so if you watch him fight you'll definitely see him pull a move that you've practiced at least once against a larger, younger opponent.

Sure he'll go to a performance with you! You'll have a really nice time, admittedly. He'll behave, no mischief on his part, just bragging once the majorettes get to work that you do that too. He just wants to have a good time with you doing something that you love, especially if you do the same with him.

“I like him better than I do you.” He told Amuro plainly. It wasn’t much of an achievement, considering, but Shinichi still felt like it needed to be said. Since they were being so honest with each other after all. 

 

“I’m well aware,” Amuro said, chuckling. “I hate you less than I do him.” He was still idly turning pages in the book and Shinichi slammed it shut in his hands.

 

“If you bring your gun here again I will make you regret it.”

💥 What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?

for one piece i think it would be the reveal of why sanji wanted to have to power to turn invisible. listen i have a tough time liking sanji in canon and i thought when it was first brought up that yknow that could be an interesting thing to explore esp with his backstory later with his shitty family like do something with that! and then they were like nah he wants to harass women in the bath. like i pretend i do not see it

for detco its hard bc i think there is so much thats only debatably canon. for me detco isnt really one continuous story so i like to pick and choose with canon anyway. maybe just more queer representation. or any i suppose (the movies arent really canon but the lupin crossover movie has like two or three lines in it that i despise and wish to delete from out universe entirely)

✨️ Out of the comments you’ve received on your fics, what are two or three of your favorites?

there is a lovely person called hikarinomajin (i forgot what their tumblr user name is and cannot find it for the live of me rn) who made a thread on twitter as they read 221 beika street and linked it in the comments and that was a joy to read. they leave lovely comments but that first one and the thread is special to me, ive never had someone make a thread live blogging them reading my writing.

also @blithe-bee is the best hype woman for my wips, lots of comments from her in my google docs drafts that are a huge motivation, i have posted one of my recent favorites on this blog about stabbing zoro being my brand

also a very different but hilarious one is this one on Glue Trap from BnuuyTales, makes me cackle every time

👓 What helps you focus when you write?

playlists! i make playlists for everything. when im starting to get serious about a story i will sit down and make a playlist. here is part of the 221 beika street one

🦋 Which character is your favorite to write?

they all have their unique quirks. i think i feel the most at home in heijis and laws head bc i can project my own way of thinking on it. a bit scattered and a bit overdrive and run on sentences. its the easiest to write as them i think. a few other characters are fun to write though just because i can use a different style. ive really been enjoying writing robin from one piece and my one shot from sonokos pov bc they think very differently and have different focus and expressions

🦈 Which character is the toughest to write?

i really struggled with kaito at first. ive mostly seen the movies for detco in the beginning and hadnt read the kaito manga yet so i felt like pulling teeth trying to get his voice down.

for one piece i tried my hand at usopp recently too and i definitely am not as comfortable in his pov yet as other characters but i could see myself really enjoying him down the line

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

@the-pen-pot is someone ive been following since livejournal and shes (i hope thats the right pronouns) a great writer! merlin unfortunately isnt my fandom but if you are into merlin im sure her stuff is still great if not better then when i read her fullmetal alchemist fics back in the day

specific fics is a little though for op and detco bc as soon as i start writing fic i will read less of it in any given fandom xD

but here are some favs

i think a classic for detco is a study in scarlette great work by kittebasu

kaishin power hour, great plot and fantastic pace, also really interesting character exploration

for one piece i absolutely loved Cut My Feelings Clean Off by Augment

zoro as the heart pirates first mate, fantastic dynamics here. absolutely love how their wrote law

if you are into grandmaster of demonic cultivation and horror Post Mortem by Cataclysmic_Calamity was a breathtaking piece of work but do be mindful of the content warnings. the climax is so fantastic i read it multiple times

and for some red vs blue fans P versus NP by @glassedplanets

wash and maine in a canon divergent story. one of my absolute favorites, i followed the progress for years and the author recently started writing one piece too! (that ive been meaning to read as well) so definitely check their stuff out. they also make beautiful art

i wish i was better with names bc i know some of these people have tumblrs too that i follow but i cannot remember the names. i just see vague icon blobs when i scroll my timeline

💛 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?

i know its hard especially in this current age of social media but just write for yourself. like i sometimes call writing exorcising things from my brain and i think thats where the passion comes from. dont write for numbers and likes (although those are of course nice too) but they arent a sign of quality or capability.

Never Fade Away

THIS IS A VERY LONG POST with big spoilers in both words and pictures for Cyberpunk 2077!

But it's also all my feels about a playthrough that's taken me many months and almost 300 hours to complete.

I played Cyberpunk 2077 on release. As I said in this "Games I played in 2021" post, which is a thing I wish I'd remembered to do every year, I loved it. That said, it probably wouldn't have cracked my top 10 or maybe even 20 favorite games ever, but I thought it was amazing, right out of the box. I ran into a couple of bugs, like couldn't complete the Delamain questline, and definitely agreed with some popular opinions about the game that parts of it didn't seem quite done, I had a couple of crashes and times I had to reload from something weird happening, but playing on PC I didn't have a lot of the problems console players did apparently.

It very much felt to me like another Andromeda situation -- another game that needed another couple of months to finish ironing a couple of bugs out but was mostly a victim of its own over-anticipaiton and overhyped-edness by the fanboys (and girls.)

That said, when I finished it I set it aside to wait for major updates before I'd pick it up again.

So last fall when it's one and only DLC, Phantom Liberty finally released, it was right around when the BG3 hype was happening so BG3 came first. But I kept having to wait for mods to update after patches dropped, so during one of these breaks I went and started playthrough #2 of Cyberpunk 2077.

My first time through I was a Nomad, so to mix it up this time I went Corpo. I really enjoyed Corpo a lot more and thought it had some much cooler interactions than Nomad ever gave me. Although, I thought the introduction and subsequent friendship with Jackie felt more natural with Nomad.

There were several goals I had going in to this playthrough.

Different origin - check.

Send Jackie's body to Mama Welles -- with no spoilers from my first run, I thought sending the body to Vik to work on first would be the most logical choice and either he could help Jackie or at least get him interred properly so Jackie's mom WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE TRAUMATIZED by her son's body just showing up. Guess that was the wrong choice and it was way too late to change once I found that out. So yeah, start things off right with Mama.

Complete the Delamain quest now that the showstopper bug a LOT of people ran into was fixed. (Didn't mention it later, but check!)

Find all the Hidden Gems

Pick a different ending.

Install cool mods to enhance things without breaking the game.

Generally, just do everything. Except maybe the Sinnerman questline. (I aborted halfway through and didn't regret it.)

Understand the main storyline in ways that had confused the hell out of me the first time around.

So with 1 checked off, I decided before advancing the main storyline much, I'd try to raise my fame level a bit and also just let Jackie live for awhile.

I did some research and landed on installing the Welcome to Night City mod collection. It's well researched, well maintained, the creator is really responsive, and has a Discord with a well supported community. Importantly for me, it also didn't have any "sexy" mods, just great gameplay tweaks, fixes, customizable on how much harder/easier it made the game, and added a lot of flavor and experience but felt like everything just worked in the background. Also since I have a Premium Nexus Mods experience, the install and upgrades were very, very easy. I didn't do the upgraded CyberpunkTHING experience, since it makes the game harder. I was here for a good time.

(And yes, I endorsed every mod in the collection!)

Honestly it added so many things that I'm sure there was a ton of stuff I just experienced thinking that that's just how the game was now, but it was a part of a seamlessly integrated mod collection.

I'll definitely use this mod pack again the next time I play. But also I didn't install ANY other mods really for a very long time, and I now really wish that I had. But we'll get to that.

I also installed several other graphics mods on my own, like a high-res skin for River (and the... shall we say... anti-Kendoll mod for him lol) and like, this mod (and several others from that author) that tones down the hypersexuality of the ads in the game. I realized early on that they don't bother me in-game -- it totally fits the aesthetic and tone of the game! But also I didn't want all that in screenshots that I will have rotating on my desktop for years (shoutout to DisplayFusion) and would have the possibility of like, my AC guy or my neighbors kids having to see as my Office is my living room (and my living room is the smallest bedroom of my house).

I did a lot of the gigs in Watson before advancing the main storyline so I'd have an OK character for storming stuff this time. I recently found a list of places Johnny talks in early Watson jobs to avoid doing early next time:

Side Job: Losing My Religion (where you have to free the monk from Maelstrom)

Fixer Gig: Backs Against the Wall (recover stolen medicine from veteran)

Fixer Gig: Scrolls before Swine (get the CCTV footage for the cop, only if you watch before downloading)

So you can do all NCPD hustles, the first 10 Fixer gigs and and all side jobs except Losing My Religion without losing out on any of the Johnny experience.

Leaving that there for next time. Anyway, it feels like it makes more sense to get this chance at the big gig when you have some experience, and can pretend you and Jackie were living life together a little while longer. Next playthrough -- use AMM to take some hanging out with Jackie screenshots early on.

Eventually I advanced the main storyline enough and finished the Heist, and was able to check #2 off my list. Loved not getting yelled at by Mama Welles this time. And felt with the added time that I had a right to be doing this -- still extremely stupid in retrospect -- gig. But it was more fun have tools to deal with the hotel guards this time.

Knowing who Takemora was and meeting Johnny again were really enhanced by knowing what the fuck was going on the second time around. Keanu really knocks it out of the park when you finally really understand the character.

Though I hate the early adversarial feeling between him and V, I get it a lot more now. Watching the relationship grow is really worth it.

I wasn't invited to Jackie's memorial the first time. So getting to go the second time and help repair Misty and Mama Wells' relationship was great, and I really loved getting to know Jackie better by picking out something for the funeral at his garage, and the added time with Misty.

I told myself I'd do a different spec than stealth-hacker. I was wrong. I still did that. I love using Contagion and Overheat to take enemies out non-lethally while crouched behind something nearby. The ones that really deserve it get a shot from Skippy later.

Yeah, as soon as lockdown was over I hightailed it down to Valentino's territory and then headed back to Watson / Japantown. I gave Skippy up as late as possible, when he was outliving his usefulness. I got him back as fast as I could, but I miss his voice. I miss his quips.

After that when I needed a weapon I mostly used the Arasaka experimental smart SMG. IDK, I just liked the feeling of stealing shit from Arasaka and using it to fuck up their own people whenever possible. But again, I didn't shoot weapons much anyway.

I spent so, so much time just driving around taking pictures of my cars and the amazing ways the light looked while driving through the city. I absolutely fell in love with the aesthetics of the city, every part of it, over and over again. I posted a few photosets. There are more in the queue. There are so many screenshots I didn't use.

Like, honestly out of everything I love about this game just... looking at it is maybe my favorite thing. There's so much to see, all of the time, everywhere. Your eyes can never take it all in. I'll be in a place I've been a dozen times and still find new awesome things to look at. I just can't describe how much I enjoy just... looking at this game.

I never fast travel anywhere -- except out of the Megabuilding 10 apartment. I took the metro a few times just to sit back and relax watching the scenery go by but normally I just drive everywhere.

Jackie's Arch and the Porche 911 (and its variant in the bottom screenshot) are my favorite vehicles. Bikes for maneuverability, but also likewise the Porche has better handling than a bike while still being really easy to weave through traffic in.

Night City is one of the few locations in any video game I've ever played that TRULY feels like it could be a real place. Every neighborhood is distinct. Though there are some familiar things, one Captain Caliente doesn't look like every other one. You'll see a few of the same signs around, there are some generic small building structures but where it makes sense. Yeah there's a few monolithic Arasaka buildings but of course they would be. How efficient. The megabuildings are similar, but different enough. It feels like every detail of the world was crafted so carefully. There's so much beauty even in the ugly bits.

I never want to stop looking at it, or screenshotting it. I just love the city so much.

I romanced River again. Look, I'm a basic primarily het romancer in video games. I love Judy, she's amazing, but River ticks my boxes -- the Paladin archetype who gives it all up to do the right thing even when it costs him.

I hate that he's the most undercooked of all the companions plot and time-wise. But there were some huge improvements this time. All the companions had gotten extra text message interactions. A fun little quest that added a bit more content in PL. They Really Want To Stay at Your House! And along with that, amazing mods are now available to make those things even better. (River Romanced Enhanced, the Really Want To Stay At Your House and Romance Interactions Enhanced mods)

Around the mid-point in game after seeing some amazing photosets on my desktop, I got brave and installed Appearance Mod Menu and a bunch of other pose and photomode mods that go along with it. Also some outfit mods for River. And then things really got cooking screenshot wise.

Even though it took a lot of effort to set this stuff up and to get poses to work right sometimes, I got to feel like River and my V went out and had real dates on the town.

Also sometimes... we just uh... stayed in.

There's so many photos that won't ever make it to tumblr. And so many more sets I want to take.

Well, that's what reloading old saves is for.

You'll see some of these screenshots again, or have before. I have a lot of things queued that will pop up... sometime. I like to surprise myself with my own photosets. :D

I finally installed the Virtual Atleir and started modding in outfits a little while after doing AMM, was trying to install things in waves as to not break too much. I got a few crashes here and there, but not as many as I was worried about, after installing stuff on top of Welcome to Night City.

I kind of regret waiting so long to do Virtual Atlier and clothing mods but also not. I think I manually collected like 95% or more of all the ingame clothing. I still stop by clothing stores but they usually have nothing new for me, or just things like... masks that I never use. There's such a huge variety of clothes already in the game that I didn't get to build a lot of outfits around pieces that I love. I made a whole post of ingame-outfits I made and love!

And there's one in the queue somewhere of modded-in outfits, too. Not even all of them.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the ultimate Dress-up my dolls and make them kiss game, and I may never stop playing that aspect of it.

Hey speaking of Kerry Eurodyne, I love him. And Panam. And Judy. And Vik. and Claire. And Misty. And Rogue. And the rest of Samurai (Well, I chose Denny and always will.) The only thing I don't love is how it feels like you still don't get enough time with any of them, except MAYBE Panam.

I would love to be able to space out all of their missions even more. I try to put as much space in between the companion missions as possible, but this time it backfired on me a little because i crammed Judy's stuff in way later in the game than I should have, around when I was doing Kerry's stuff. When all of the main quest and most of the side quest stuff was done. And we all know that we don't get Kerry until way too late anyway. But doing Panam's stuff happened so long ago that sometimes I'd just drive out to see the Aldecados and hang out for a day because I missed them. (And, as you can see in the River screenshot above, I "brought him along" to introduce him tot he family once or twice.)

I have a great photoset in the queue of all the main characters hanging out at the Corpo apartment together I can't wait to come up someday. Not posting a preview screenshot here.

Except I forgot Claire. It took me like an hour to set that scene up and now I'm thinking about doing it all again to include Claire.

Anyway, mostly I just want to say that aside from just loving River, I love them all and don't want to leave them behind either.

Or the Fixers. Or Reed. But we'll get to Phantom Liberty.

Just one more quick stop here to talk about the music.

I installed the Improved Radio Continued mod and wow it really enhanced the music experience for me.

I am a 98.7 Body Heat gal, with a flip to Pacific Dreams when Ponpon Shit or History would play, but loved about half the new music on Growl FM. It took some finagling, but Improved Radio let me make my own custom radio station with JUST the songs I wanted. So it's a mash of those three stations, without the songs I disliked. (There's one on Pacific Dreams, the REALLY long one that has the interlude of someone saying the same word over and over really slowly? That one... ughghgh) and that was amazing. There's a handful of songs from other stations I liked too, that got added in. And, I'm sorry, no Us Cracks allowed. I love them as characters, still hate their music.

What I didn't expect was to really fall in love with the music of Samurai this time around. Like, I knew I should have the first time but I didn't put effort into listening to them since metal isn't my usual vibe. But it IS my brother's, at least when we were in High School and College, so I listened to it a lot back then and there are still metal songs I do like.

So this time I put all the Samaurai songs in my playlist and holy shit I fell in love with them.

A couple of weeks ago I was driving to visit my parents IRL and the entire way up there I just listened to the Samurai songs on repeat. I'm a big fan now, thanks second playthrough.

So, Phantom Liberty was the big reason for the new playthrough. Let's talk about it.

I absolutely LOVE Dogtown. oh, Pacifica, but worse? Amazing. So much new stuff to see, and do. I loved exploring every nook and cranny.

It added SO MUCH to the game, I can't imagine playing the game without it. I didn't even go to there until I was like 2/3rds of the way through the rest of the content and I wish I'd spread it out EVEN MORE.

I will say that I thought some of the main quests were a bit long. I felt myself itching to get out and go do something else throughout some of the long sessions like basically having to do most of the stuff with the President in one big long chain, though it made sense. I loved those quests, though! And I think I'll like them even more on a subsequent playthrough some day.

The only part I really did not like at all in Phantom Liberty was -- ok look I made the choice to side with Reed the entire way. It's Idris fucking Elba okay, I have loved him since The Wire. And I absolutely understand why Songbird did what she did, and what she would have done if I'd have sided with her. And maybe I will next time. But this time, I was all in on Reed -- though I didn't become an Agent for the NUSA, fuck that. And I gave Songbird her final wish. Because again, fuck the NUSA.

But oh man, that last quest? With that FUCKING ROBOT following you around the base at the end, that is an instakill if it finds you? FUUUUUUCK that. It was so frustrating that I stopped playing for over a month because every time I thought about going back into the game to finish that my head wanted to explode.

Eventually I watched a couple of Youtube videos and read a couple of articles about exactly where to go and how to hide from it.

Look, I love exploring, I love taking my time, I love making sure I explore everything and miss nothing. That fucking robot harshed my gaming style so much. No regrets about cheating my way through that part. Zero. I made it through with only dying to it one more time and got the fuck out of there. I was also glad to see in the comments of the video I watched and articles I read that I was very much not alone in that opinion. I might side with Songbird at least most of the way to the end in future playthroughs JUST to never have to do that base again.

Otherwise, though, Phantom Liberty was a triumph. I want a mod that makes the Dogtown apartment not shit but also not luxury, and then I want to just stay there a long time.

So, I'm almost done with the game.

I installed two Hidden Gems mods that turn the easy-to-miss stuff into Fixer (and Ronald in Dogtown) quests and LOVED THEM. I wanted to see and do it all. And I did. I'm done with that. It took me many more hours of gameplay to get through all of that. Worth it.

In my playthrogh, River is waiting for me at my Megabuilding apartment to spend one more night together.

And then I'm calling Panam and having the Aldecados come help me storm Arasaka.

Last time I had Rogue help, and to be honest, I feel like that's still the right choice. Rogue helped start this. She should help end it.

But one of my goals was to do more things different. And to be honest, I hate the endings, so much.

It's not that I necessarily think there should be a happy ending for V. But I think that the game should let us help make sure other people have happier endings.

So here's the thing. V is richer than like 95% of Night City by the end of the game. She's got like six apartments, at least a dozen cars even if you don't buy many at the car store, My V still has like 8 million eddies.

I don't care what the game says.

In my game, V went to a financial lawyer.

V set up trusts with each of the Fixers, or maybe one for all of them, where they can access funds to hire mercs to help people who couldn't afford a Fixer but needs one. I'd trust most of them to use this wisely, or maybe Regina, or Rogue, or Dakota or Padre would help oversee it. At least a million eddies out there, to help those who get fucked by the system most.

V sets up a trust for Judy, so she's always got enough to get by. She sends her the best tech she's gotten her hands on to ply her trade with. Maybe a new van. Set aside some to help the Dolls.

V sends her heavy duty vehicles and Scorpion's bike to the Aldecados, along with a huge stash of weaponry and half a million or so eddies to help them stay solvent.

Misty's and Vik's rents paid up for at least a year. A vehicle each. Another 250k or so for each of them. They have room to breathe. Whatever Cyberware is laying around goes to Vik -- but if River wants a couple of pieces installed, he gets them (within reason. No cyberpsychosis for my man.)

Same for Claire. Set her up with her shop's rent paid up, and a trust, give her The Beast back, and another car of her choosing.

Kerry doesn't need much, but she gives him Johnny's outfit to remember him by. Or maybe to Rogue. What do these two giants want? Whatever it is, they can have. Split the memorabilia.

And then River.

First of all, a trust for Joss and the kids. 250k each, the kids get theirs in small chunks as they age. If there's a note on either of the trailers, it's paid off. If Joss wants to move into the city, done. Set the kids up with scholarships to the best schools they want to go to. A decent, reliable car for each of the four of them. Maybe Randy wants the Megabuilding apartment for when he's ready to live on his own again.

River gets most of what's left after all that. The Glen apartment specifically, that's where they made their best memories. There's still going to be like 4 million and a bunch of cars and property left. If V dies, it's his.

This is the closest thing to happily ever after that they can get, and in my mind it absolutely happens, at some point.

Honestly, if it were me, if I didn't know the "two years later" of it, then V would have taken the President's offer and gotten Johnny out of her head surgically and lived. The will probably would have triggered. Or knowing that the surgery could be risky she'd at least have put in a provision that a percent of it triggered so Joss, the kids, River, Judy, Claire and Panam would be taken care of.

She'd never have left River destitute and desperate to take care of the family. I can't accept it.

V would wake up maybe with less money, but her assets protected enough that even without being a Merc she'd be OK. The people she loved would be OK. River would have taken care of things, and would love her without her implants.

It'll never be happily ever after in Night City, but the people that matter most will be OK.

But I'm going to finish today, maybe tomorrow. I planned on it today but then I spent 4 hours writing this post and have a PF2E game tonight to DM that I need to prep for.

I installed the River's Epilogue Enhanced - Nomad Star Ending mod and.... so I'm bringing the Aldecados to Arasaka, and am going to have the happiest ending possible modded into the game. With my headcanon that a trust is waiting for him and the family. They'll be fine.

I love this game. I loved it before, I love it so much more now.

I can't wait to play it again someday.

Winning La liga

A/n: sorry this took so long I had it done yesterday but forgot to post  Gavi:

- he's so nervous before the game like 10x more nervous than he has been before any other game

- it's really hard to watch him get ready while just staring blankly at the wall or mirror clearly thinking about the game in too much detail

- as there was no away fans allowed you couldn't go to the game which meant you couldn't be there right before they go out to hype him up so you had to do it before he left

- give him loads of encouragement while also trying to tell him that it won't be the end of the world if the team don't win as they still have loads more chances to clinch the title

- when he left he seemed less nervous but when you saw the videos of the team arriving at the stadium you could tell he was nervous again so after you know the warm up is over you text him with some last minute encouragement as well as a picture of you in one of his jerseys as he always says he likes to see that before a game

- most of the match you watch from behind your hands or a pillow as you can't handle the stress of such a big match but each time there is a goal you jump up and celebrate before going back to hiding behind something when the game restarts

- when the final whistle is blown you almost can't believe it but watching all the players celebrate brings an immense amount of excitement as well as a lot of relief as it has been a long stressful season

- Pablo is so incredibly excited about winning his first league title and you are so proud of him as you know how hard he works and how much effort he has put into this season which is all playing off now

- as soon as Pablo is in the locker room he finds his phone to FaceTime you because he wants to celebrate with you and he wants to see how excited you are as he knows you will be nearly as excited as him

- you congratulate him and the entire team as they come to check who Pablo is talking to even though they already know it will be you as you are the reason Pablo is always on his phone

- the two of you stay on FaceTime throughout the celebrations so you kind of become part of all the celebrations even though you aren't there in person at some point you even start to feel a bit sick from all the jumping around Pablo is doing with his phone

- at some point you tell him to go and enjoy himself with the rest of the team which he does but you get constant updates from him when he's on the bus and when they all arrive back at the training ground to celebrate with the fans

- eventually he arrives home and makes a grand entrance by chanting as he enters the door which definitely gets your attention as you were starting to fall asleep waiting for him

- right away he runs over and picks you up off the sofa to jump around with you as he somehow still has loads of energy even though you are exhausted from the small celebrations you did at home let alone the hours of partying the team did

- he holds you tightly to him while peppering kisses across your face as it's the only way he can think of to show you how much he loves you but also how excited he is but you love it especially when he stops to give you a passionate kiss on the lips

- when he finally puts you down he does not stop talking about the game he tells you every little thing that happened he rants about the tackles and getting a yellow card but then he gets all excited about the chances the team had and all the goals

- he looked so cute being so excited so for most of the conversation you end up just staring at him and looking at the way his eyes light up like you've never seen before it all just makes you so happy seeing his dreams come true

- at some point he moves on from talking non stop to being very affectionate and constantly wanting to have his arms around you which made doing your nighttime routine very difficult but you don't mind as it's always nice to have Pablo's arms around you

- when you finally get into bed Pablo can't sleep as he still has too much energy which you help him get out until he is starting to get tired enough to actually get some sleep

- until he falls asleep he cuddles you and thinks about how he can't wait to enjoy more of the celebrations with you in the morning

Pedri:

- Pedri has played a few big games in his career so far so he's not as nervous as he was before those but he is still quite nervous as winning the game means winning his first league title which is a big deal

- you try your best to keep him distracted until he has to leave by getting him to spend time with you doing the things he likes to do as that combination always puts him in a good mood

- before he leaves his family all arrive as you invited them over to watch the game with you and seeing them really seems to help him especially when he gets some words of encouragement from his mum and jokes around with Fer

- usually before every game you wait for Pedri after the warm up to give him a pep talk before going to your seat but as you won't be there in person you have to send him a text instead which you just have to hope helps settle his nerves

- Pedri reads the text you send a million times before the game because your words always help him get focused and ready to give his all which he really needs before this particular game as he doesn't want to make a mistake and mess up the teams chances of winning

- when the game starts you and Pedri's family all watch the tv intently and somehow you and his mum and up holding onto each others arms for support as that's the only way you will make it through the game

- as soon as Lewandowski scored all of you went crazy celebrating as it only took 11 minutes which made you relax a bit more as the team were clearly very motivated and playing really well

- with each goal you only celebrate more especially for Pedri's assist as much as it wasn't the goal he wanted to get you just know he will be over the moon to have contributed in probably the most important game of the year

- even when espanyol scored you guys didn't really care as it was obvious that they weren't going to win the game and Barca were going to be champions but when the full time whistle blew it almost didn't feel real

- it's safe to say there are a lot of happy tears as all of you are just so proud of Pedri and the team you especially have seen how hard they have all worked to get back to winning ways so you know this means everything to all of the players

- as you are celebrating with Pedri's family your phone starts ringing with a FaceTime call from him so you answer it and sit in front of everyone so they can all see him on the screen he is beaming from ear to ear as you guys tell him how proud you are

- he stays talking to you for a bit before you tell him to go and enjoy the celebrations and that you will see him whenever he gets home he tries to tell you he will be home as soon as possible but you tell him to enjoy himself and not worry about getting home

- eventually he makes it home after celebrating with the team for a few hours and as soon as he opens the door his family rush over to greet him while you hang back slightly to let them have their moment as you know how close they all are

- when Pedri sees you stood to the side he pulls you straight into his side so you can hug him too and of course he squeezes you extra tightly as that's the only way he knows how to hug you especially when he's happy

- after a quick conversation his family leaves so that the two of you can spend the rest of the night together and as soon as they do Pedri picks you up and starts spinning you around which makes you a bit dizzy but it's ok as you love seeing Pedri so happy

- once he puts you down he turns on some music and the two of you start dancing which is something you can never get Pedri to do even when you go out together so you savour the moment of finally getting to dance with him

- as you dance together he gives you lots of kisses and even gets adventurous by dipping you which made you nervous to start with but after he did it once you knew he wouldn't let you fall so you were happy for him to do it again

- when you stop dancing he takes you up to bed and before you can change into your usual pyjamas he is handing you his new champions shirt for you to wear as he wants to see his favourite person celebrating his best achievement other than securing you

- as you cuddle in bed he tells you all about the evening and all of the celebrations which weren't filmed all of which sounded a little crazy to you but he enjoyed himself and that's what matters

- Pedri doesn't stop talking until he heard you snoring slightly as you sleep on his chest which tells him he needs to get some sleep too but not before taking a picture to remember the night by

I DID NOT EXPECT HIM TO BE SO GOSH DARN ADORABLE! LIKE WHAT!? SIR, WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT??? Absolute ray of sunshine!! Precious bean!! He’s trying his best and he’s doing it!!! Golden Retriever energy mixed with Chihuahua energy???? Especially when he gets riled up and starts picking fights. I love him. He is my son.

2. Kageyama

Oh my gosh I love him so much XD I didn’t expect him to flip and start vibing so well with the team so fast! I thought for sure he’d be stuck in his ways for a while longer, but I’m so glad that isn’t the case! Also the GIF I picked doesn’t do him justice but he’s very adorable in his own way!!

(I really do love him so so much, it’s just hard to pinpoint why which makes it really hard to caps scream about him XD)

3. Tanaka

Confession time: I fully expected to not like Tanaka at all.

Confession number two:

This is the scene that changed my mind. LOOK AT HIM!!!! LOOK AT MY FERAL BOY!!!! HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HIM???? The first time I saw this scene I had to rewatch it once or twice just to fully appreciate Tanaka XD Dude literally went “Oh? You don’t like me, huh? SYKE GUESS WHAT YOU LOVE ME NOW!! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT, HUH??!” And I just shrugged because welp. He’s right. What am I gonna do about it? Not find him completely endearing and hilarious??? I don’t think so. ALSO his big brother vibes towards Hinata are just *chefs kiss* perfection.

4. Sugawara

Listen. Listen. From the minute we met him I KNEW I liked him. Like, had him singled out as most likely to be my favorite character (not expecting to fall in love with so many of these boys). And despite the fact that he got sidelined so bad, I WAS (mostly) RIGHT AND I LOVE HIM! HE’S SO SUPPORTIVE AND SWEET!?! AND IT’S AN ABSOLUTE CRIME HE HASN’T GOTTEN TO PLAY IN A SERIOUS MATCH YET (as of Season 1 Episode 17). IT’S HIS SENIOR YEAR AND I WANT TO SEE HIM PLAY, DANG IT! >:c Reminds me of clouds :) Also has excellent big brother energy!! He’d better get some game time soon though or I’m gonna riot.

LAST BUT MOST CERTAINLY NOT LEAST:

5. Nishinoya

OKAY HE WASN’T WHAT I EXPECTED AT ALL BUT THAT’S OKAY BECAUSE HE’S 20X BETTER!! AAAAAHHHHH I LOVE HIM!!!! He’s a shortie!!! And he’s so ENERGETIC and HYPED and he LOVES HIS TEAMMATES and he’s so. Feral. But not in a “I’M BIG I’M BIG I’M BIG” kind of way and I LOVE IT. He’s small but deadly and ADORABLE! He’s just incredibly endearing all around, and WE HAVE MORE BIG BROTHER VIBES! Also his dynamic with Tanaka is just hilarious XD Tol Feral and Smol Feral.

Conclusion: I think for my top favorite it’s a tie between Hinata and Nishinoya! I love all five of the characters listed here, but those two in particular have something a little extra about them! (Me, realizing halfway through that sentence: They’re short. That’s it. It’s because they’re short.) After them it’s a three-way tie because I love the other three for such different reasons that I can’t really compare them, y’know? :)

im kind of unbelievably horrible at knowing music genres, let alone trying to assign specific genres to characters but i’ll try my best 😭 guys plz dont cook me if its bad im not that big of a musichead plz plz

Anyways. firstly, since minato and kotone both canonically listen to the p3 ost, i can assign them hip hop/rap/pop off rip. if it’s in their playlist, i think we can gather that they enjoy it.

minato - alt rock, pop punk, gothwave, video game osts. i say video game osts bc i yhink minato would like sitting around in a video game afk just to listen to the background music. i dont think minato is a goth but i feel as if gothwave has a sound he’d find enjoyable

kotone - alt rock, hip hop/rap, pop rock. she loves to lip sync to it and u can hear the song she’s lip syncing to bc i also know kotone probably turns her volume to max so loud you’d think she’ll damage her ears someday if not soon

yukari - dance pop, new wave, pop. she’s one of those people who hates country and sucks at listening to music outside her preferred genre. secretly likes a few alt songs but she’d never put them on her main playlist

junpei - hip hop, r&b. probably also a pop enjoyer, but honestly he’d like anything if it were catchy. he loves to dance and it sucks bc he’s really good at it so nobody can make fun of him

fuuka - alt/indie, pop. she’d also enjoy video game music, like minecraft ost and she cries to it. i think she mostly likes slower music. music that makes her feel like her soul is leaving her body and ascending to a different plane of existence

mitsuru - classical. rich girl… but i also think the girls would influence her taste to expand more and she’d find herself enjoying the worst songs you’ve ever heard in your life. it’s ok tho since it’s her first time branching out. she’ll grow…

akihiko - whatever’s on the radio, mostly enjoys upbeat faster paced music that can easily hype someone up. he’s kinda that one pic that’s like “Gym Beast Playlist” and the first song is hi high by loona

shinjiro - death metal, old school hip hop. death metal came to me bc i was thinking about casual outfits for shinjiro and i really wanted to put him in a death metal shirt bc of the font lmfaoo. but i prefer more old school hip hop for him and occasionally other things like old school rock music. he hates that new shit

ken - pop, alt/indie. ken is a kid so his taste is just beginning to form. he only knows pop radio. i also think ken’s music taste is music where you’d hear it and be like “god how does anyone like this” but he’s a child so he’s allowed to get away with it. and i say indie bc i also think ken is the type of person to be sad so he listens to more sad music as if it won’t make his mood worse. he goes on youtube and types “sad music playlist” when he’s in a bad mood

aigis - feel like she focuses more on the lyrics than the sound 😭 it’s her first day on earth she hasn’t yet learned that u can listen to music for the vibe instead of the lyricism. even then, i think aigis would probably enjoy almost any kind of music bc she thinks the creativity is beautiful

koromaru - adding him bc i think he’d have shinjiro’s taste from how much he loves him. he hears death metal and it puts him right to sleep…

ryoji - similar to aigis, but he’d probably heavily prefer whatever music the protagonist also enjoys. he has his own thing for classical music as well. he plays the piano and stuff …

+ thanks for asking what my taste is. i personally prefer to listen to a lot of rock, punk, metal, etc. if my cutesy art doesn’t make it so incredibly obvious BUT i enjoy anything as long as it sounds pleasant to my ears ✌️
